CTS Self Defence Online Academy

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CTS Self Defence Online Academy website, online learning platform, and any associated services, including courses for women, children, and instructor certification programs.
By accessing or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
1. 👥 Eligibility
1.1 General Access
You must be at least 18 years of age to register independently for any CTS course.
Minors (under 18) may only access the Children’s Self Defence Program through a parent, guardian, or school/organization account.
1.2 Instructor Course Eligibility
Only those who meet minimum eligibility—such as a black belt or certified PE/safety educator—may enroll in the CTS Instructor Certification Program.
CTS reserves the right to verify credentials or deny access if criteria are not met.
2. 🧑🏫 Course Conduct
By enrolling in any CTS course, you agree to:
Use the materials only for personal or approved instructional use
Not teach children or women without proper ethical training and required consent
Respect physical and psychological safety in practice
Never use CTS techniques to promote violence, intimidation, or abuse
Violation of these principles may result in suspension or revocation of certification and access.
3. 🔐 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
Ensuring no unauthorized person accesses your account
Reporting any security breach to CTS immediately
CTS is not responsible for any activity under your account due to your failure to secure it.
4. 🧾 Payments, Refunds & Access
4.1 Payments
Course fees are displayed at the time of enrollment and must be paid in full (or in agreed installments) before access is granted.
4.2 Refunds
Refunds are generally not provided once course access is granted, unless:
You are unable to access the course due to technical issues caused by CTS
You request a cancellation within 48 hours of purchase and have not accessed any course material
4.3 Lifetime Access
“Lifetime access” refers to the lifetime of the course’s availability on the CTS platform, not the lifetime of the user.
5. 📚 Use of Content & Intellectual Property
All content on this platform—including videos, PDFs, assessments, branding, and graphics—is the intellectual property of CTS Self Defence and protected by copyright.
You may:
Download and print PDFs for personal or classroom use
Teach approved drills after certification
Use promotional materials provided for certified instructors
You may not:
Copy, resell, or distribute course materials
Share login details with others
Use CTS branding or techniques without approval
6. ⚠️ Legal & Physical Risk Disclaimer
You acknowledge that:
Self-defence involves physical and psychological risk, and you undertake any activities at your own risk
CTS is not liable for injuries, emotional distress, or misuse of content
You are responsible for ensuring medical readiness before participating

7. 👶 Special Terms for Children’s Courses
All CTS programs for children:
Must be supervised by a trained adult (parent, teacher, or CTS-certified instructor)
Must have prior written parental/guardian consent before participation
Must comply with the POCSO Act and related child safety guidelines
Any misuse or unsupervised use of our children’s materials is strictly prohibited.
8. 📝 Certification Conditions
To be certified as a CTS Instructor:
You must complete all modules and pass assessments
Submit a practical video and research assignment
Agree to abide by our Code of Conduct and Ethics
Renew certification periodically (as required)
CTS reserves the right to revoke or suspend certification for misconduct, misuse, or non-compliance.
9. 📧 Communication & Updates
By enrolling, you consent to receive:
Email updates regarding your course
Safety alerts, event invitations, or resource announcements
You may unsubscribe at any time from non-critical communications.
10. ⚖️ Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in [Insert City, e.g., Mumbai].
11. 🛠 Changes to Terms
CTS reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates your acceptance.
